Preparing Cinderella's bodice. I put bones on almost all of the seam allowances, leaving the side seams free for adjustability.

I made two bodices for different dancers. For the first one (below) I used a continuous strip of fabric for the pleats, and you can see that grain of the fabric pleated to to right quite nicely, it fought me me on the left side. For the second one (above) I split the fabric in the center front , turned the left side upside down, and seamed it under the center pleat. It turned out much smoother, so I redid the left side of the first bodice after taking this photo.
